BROOKLAND — Adrian Boling scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds Friday night, leading Brookland to a 53-50 victory over Weiner in senior boys’ basketball. Justy Moore added eight points and 10 rebounds for Brookland (2-1). Trey Harlan racked up five steals for the Bearcats, who led 37-30 going into the fourth quarter after trailing 25-22 at halftime. Chris Turner led the Cardinals with 23 points and Dalton McIllwain added 14. Brookland (1-2) won the junior boys’ game 53-41 behind 26 points from Brent Davis.
Armorel 65, Riverside 50
CARAWAY — Armorel outscored Riverside 24-11 in the second quarter to pull away for a 65-50 victory in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. Hunter Kortan pumped in 22 points to power the Tigers, who led 39-26 at halftime and 57-36 after three quarters. Zach Skelton added 13 points and Kyle Cassidy finished with 10 for Armorel (3-1). Blake Hogan scored 13 points to lead Riverside (1-4). Riverside improved to 7-0 in junior boys’ basketball with a 49-24 victory. Morgan Fletcher led Riverside with 15 points.
Bay 72, Twin Rivers 29
BAY — Bay built a 28-9 first-quarter lead and went on to beat Twin Rivers 72-29 in 1A-3 East senior boys’ basketball Friday night. Eric Bowers led the Yellowjackets (5-2, 1-0 1A-3 East) with 20 points. Troy Brown added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Devin Griffin chipped in with 13.
MARMADUKE 62, CRA 40
MARMADUKE — MARMADUKE jumped to a 37-18 halftime lead and cruised past Crowley’s Ridge Academy for a 62-40 win in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. Colton Hale scored 16 points to lead the Greyhounds. Ethan Clark scored 13 and Tanner Smith added 12 to pace CRA (0-1). MARMADUKE won junior boys’ game 32-25.
BIC 73, Black Rock 59
LEACHVILLE — Blake Wheeler scored 31 points as Buffalo Island Central used a big second half to down Black Rock 73-59 in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. BIC trailed 32-31 at halftime, but took a 56-51 lead into the final quarter and outscored the Zebras 17-8 over the final eight minutes. Cam Ashabranner added 17 points, while Heath Hawkins scored 12 and Ben Cole 10 for the Mustangs (2-2). Joe Paul Carey led Black Rock with 19 points, while Garrett Maronde added 13 and Les Foster 11. Buffalo Island won the junior boys’ game 60-27 as Daniel Davis scored 12 points and Wes Colbert added 11 for the Mustangs (5-1). Anthony Newell had a game-high 18 points for Black Rock.
Midland 78, Maynard 76
MAYNARD — Derek Tharp scored 25 points to lead Midland past Maynard 78-76 in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. Dustin Furrow added 22 points for Midland, which led 54-52 after three quarters. Clint Vandergriff had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Maynard, while Derek Murdock had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Derek Waddell added 12 points and Blake Davis 10 for the Tigers. Midland won the junior boys’ game 41-36.
Tuckerman 64, Bradford 61
TUCKERMAN — Tuckerman held off Bradford 64-61 Friday night for its first victory of the season in senior boys’ basketball. The teams were tied at 44 after the third quarter. Orie Allen led the Bulldogs (1-4) with 19 points, followed by Cody Meade with 13, Jake Hitt with 11 and Justin Watkins with 10.

BAY — Trisha Dedman scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds Friday night in Bay’s 63-35 victory over Twin Rivers in senior girls’ basketball. Jordan Ferguson added 12 points for the Lady Yellowjackets (3-3, 1-0 1A-3 East). Bay led 28-17 at halftime. Hannah Willard scored 19 points and Chance Simmons added 17 as Bay won thae junior girls’ game 39-21.
Riverside 66, Armorel 41
CARAWAY — Riverside built a 14-point halftime lead Friday night and went on to defeat Armorel 66-41 in senior girls’ basketball. Katey Campbell finished with 16 points and seven assists to lead Riverside, which led 34-20 at halftime and 48-33 after three quarters. Brianna Driver added 16 points for the Lady Rebels (4-1) while Michelle Cobb added 11. Armorel won the junior girls’ game 47-40 despite 24 points by Riverside’s Lauren Weaver.
Tuckerman 68, Bradford 59
TUCKERMAN — Sisters Bri and Meagan Goza combined for 41 points Friday night in Tuckerman’s 68-59 victory over Bradford. Bri Goza scored 22 points, followed by Meagan Goza with 19. Danielle Wright added 14 points for the Lady Bulldogs (6-0). Tuckerman led 18-7 after the first quarter, then carried a 33-23 lead into intermission and a 46-31 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Melbourne 55, Mammoth Spring 47
MAMMOTH SPRING — Spencer Caraway scored 32 points to power Melbourne to a 55-47 win over Mammoth Spring in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. Trevor Vincent scored 13 points, Seth Godwin had 11 and Colten Goetting contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Bears (4-2), who trailed 40-25 after three quarters.
Norfork 48, ICC 32
NORFORK — Norfork defeated Izard County Consolidated 48-32 in senior boys’ basketball on Friday. Trey Killian scored a game-high 11 points to lead Norfork, while Charlie Feher scored six points to pace ICC (0-4). ICC won the junior boys’ game 54-36.

NORFORK — Norfork defeated Izard County Consolidated 45-40 in senior girls’ basketball on Friday. Trisha Arnold scored 15 points and had four steals to lead Izard County, which led 19-17 at halftime. Norfork outscored ICC 28-21 in the second half.
Ridgefield 37, Turrell 34
TURRELL — Mary Kathryn Williams swished the go-ahead 3-pointer with six seconds left in Friday night’s game, giving Ridgefield Christian a 37-34 victory over Turrell in junior girls’ basketball. Haley Burden scored 12 points to lead Ridgefield (2-2). Williams scored 10.
