Born and raised in Smithville, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Grace Tanner Thacker and had lived in Leachville before moving to the Marmaduke area 40 years ago.
JONESBORO — Rutha M. Ervin of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bono to Robert Newton and Sarah Leora Watkins Montgomery.
CARAWAY — Lawrence Wayne Fletcher, 76, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at his home in Caraway. He was born June 29, 1941, in Black Oak to Alston Jewell and Margaret Whitley Fletcher.
MONETTE — Billy Gran Harrell, 81, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, in Little Rock. He was born Oct. 6, 1936, in Kennett, Mo., to the late Talmadge and Ellen Green Harrell.
JONESBORO — Amy Michelle Perry McCray, 34, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born Dec. 22, 1982, in St. Charles, Ill., to Charles and Nancy Perry. Amy has lived most of her life residing in Jonesboro.
SHIRLEY — Griffin Otis Rivers, 64, of Shirley passed from this life Sept. 25, 2017, at UT Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Born Jan. 22, 1953, in Miami, Griffin attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated with a degree in science in professional aeronautics.
JONESBORO — Lashonda Toliver, 45, of Jonesboro passed away Oct. 17, 2017, at her home.
TRUMANN — Earlene Wiley, 75, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Arlington Cove in Trumann. She was born in McCormick and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a housewife and a member of Refuge General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wiley; two brothers; one daughter, Phyllis Wiley Fisher; one grandson, Jonathan Wiley; and her parents, Earl and Eva McLemore Gann.
