The Jonesboro Sun's annual progress report, this year called "Outlook 2013: Celebrating NEA's Prosperity," will be published in two editions on Sunday, March 17, and Sunday, March 24. We invite leaders of businesses, industries, organizations and agencies to tell our readers about your progress of the past year and your plans for the future by using this questionnaire. The information will be used by Sun staff writers to prepare news and feature stories for the various sections. "Outlook 2013" will summarize major progress of 2012 in major areas of endeavor in Northeast Arkansas. Here are the various sections planned: Section 1 - "Industry and Commerce" (industries, agriculture, transportation, industrial recruiting efforts, banks, mortgage companies, investments and other financial news). Section 2 - "Community and Culture" (our roots, historical perspectives, education, organizations, volunteerism, religion, libraries). Section 3 - "Services and Entertainment" (health care, tourism, entertainment, recreation businesses, spectator and participation sports, public service agencies and programs, programs for youth, senior citizens activities, music and arts). Section 4 - "Business" (retail stores, auto sales and service, transportation-related businesses, restaurants and other food services, communications and the news media, shopping centers, hotels and motels, chambers of commerce). There is no charge for submitting information for possible use in news stories.
