JONESBORO — Thirteen individuals retiring during the 2020-21 academic year were recognized during the annual Distinguished Performance Awards and Service Recognition Ceremony May 24.

Bobby Burton, grounds and landscape, had the longest period of service, 32 years, followed by Jennifer Jasinski, enterprise risk management with 30 years.

Jacquelyn Rorex, institutional effectiveness had 22 years of service while Timmy Davis, grounds and landscape, and Karen Fullen, social work, both had 21.

Other retirees included Ina Cohn, childhood services, 14 years; Jim D. Carter, childhood services, 13 years; Sherry Ellis, agriculture, 12 years; Jeannie Cossey, provost office, 11 years; and Debra Holmberg, nursing, Carol Moseley, childhood services, Barbara Pearson, Fowler Center, and Regina Wingo, childhood services, all 10 years.

Sharon Lee, diversity and community engagement, reached the service milestone of 40 years, while four staff members had 30 years of service: Malissa Davis, archives, Dr. Russ Hannah, finance and administration, Pam Kail, system president’s office; and Phillip Ladd, planning, design and construction.

Those with 20 years of service included Eric Barnett, Loretta Fulton, Gina Goodwin and Sharon Rye, all in information and technology services, Jamie Carmack, records and registration, Diana Courson and Woodie Sue Herlein, both in childhood services, Clay Hurn, printing services, Randall Knowles, athletics administration, Jerrod Lockhart, student support services, Laura Miller, small business and technology development center, Felicia Smith, university police; and Mia Sheppard Taylor, custodial services.

Staff members reaching 10 years of service included Julie Bates, Norma Bell, Shelby Bevly, Jesse Blankenship, Chris Boothman, Michael Bradley, Carol Caldwell, Marsha Carwell, Carol Cummings, Cary Lynn Estes, Steven Franks, Mark Freier, Gregory George, Lora Gibson, Stephanie Gibson, Ronnie Gilley, Keith Gilliam, Vickie Gilmer, Edward Haff, Melissa Halter, Shea Harris, Alexis Hurdle, Christina Kostick, Tiffany Mosley, Whitney Lumpkin, Anita Murray, Katherine Prescott, Violeta Simek, Lonzo Smallwood, Mary Elizabeth Spence, Charles L.
