UALR students named to dean’s list

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has announced the names of students who have made the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester.

To be on the list, UALR students must earn at least nine credit hours and maintain a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.

Local students who made the list include Lasi McGhee and Brianna Jefferson, both of Blytheville; Karissa Bennett, Rosemary Chamberlain, David Cline, Corey Currie, Latambria Hampton, Anabelen Rodriguez and Nicholas Wright, all of Jonesboro; JaKobi Glenn of Osceola; Claudia Loyd, Amanda Robbins and Logan Sellen, all of Paragould; and Jacquelyn Arnold of Pocahontas.

UCA announces spring scholars

The University of Central Arkansas in Conway has announced the dean’s list and presidential scholars for the spring 2020 semester.

Eligibility on the dean’s list requires at least a 3.5 grade-point average with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours. Students must achieve a 4.0 GPA with a minimum course load of 12 credit hours to qualify for recognition as a presidential scholar.

Craighead County presidential scholars were Brittnee P. Carson of Bono; Abigail L. Cissel, Molly G. Coleman, Brett K. Daughdrill, Sydney L. Elmore, Amanda E. Greene, Margaret E. Hacker, Madison J. Pierce, Jackson G. Rouse, Alexis K. Smith, Mary E. Smith, Sommern Willie and Gannon A. Winstead, all of Jonesboro; and Sydney A. Adams of Lake City.

County residents included on the dean’s list were Kylynne A. Durden, Kaylei J. Gober, Halle L. Gunter, Hunter D. Hayes, Madelyn P. Kemp, Francisco Martinez, Geneva F. Nichols, Jada M. Oler, Sara F. Steimel and Daisia J. Warren, all of Jonesboro; and Conner J. McCord of Monette.
