The Salvation Army needs volunteer bell ringers, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays through Dec. 24. The annual Red Kettle Campaign is one of the Army’s primary fundraising efforts of the year.
All bell ringers will also be provided with daily PPE safety kits, including a branded mask, disposable gloves, apron and disinfectant.

Blood donors needed
The American Red Cross continues to need all types of blood.
Donations can be made daily at the Jonesboro Blood Donation Center, 1904-A Grant St. To make an appointment to donate by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.

Tuesday — 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, 317 S. 10th St., Paragould.
St. Bernards Total Healthcare, 505 E. Matthews Ave. in Jonesboro, will offer caregiver support group meetings at 2 p.m. Dec. 1, and 5 p.m. Dec. 3, for those caring for an aging parent or loved one. To sign up for a meeting, call 870-207-7500.
