JONESBORO — The Craighead County unit of the Arkansas Department of Health recently inspected a number of restaurants and other places where food is prepared.

Places inspected and any violations found at the time of the inspections were:

June 30:

Jordan’s Kwik Stop, 8222 U.S. 49 North, Brookland – no violations.

July 8:

Whistle Stop Bistro, 5435 E. Nettleton Ave. Jonesboro – one critical violation.

July 9:

Meals for Moms, 2013 Grant Ave., Jonesboro – two violations, one critical and one noncritical.

July 13:

Wingstop, 1699 Red Wolf Blvd., Jonesboro – no violations.

July 16:

Meals for Moms, 2013 Grant Ave., Jonesboro – previous violations corrected.

July 17:

McDonald’s, 1910 E. Johnson Ave., Jonesboro – five violations, one critical and four noncritical.
