JONESBORO — The KHARIS Group will host its fifth annual Nonprofit Summit on March 5. The Northeast Arkansas conference will be virtual this year.

“Each year, the Nonprofit Summit brings together our great area nonprofit leaders, staff, volunteers and board members for a day-long conference featuring in-depth engagement, learning and networking,” said Shunqetta Cunningham, founder of KHARIS Group in a press release.

Registration for the summit is $40 and can be made online at

Participants are also eligible to register for the 2021 Nonprofit Pitch Competition with a $1,000 grand prize by uploading a 90-second or less video pitch to the website.

Organizations can then share a link to the video and encourage their supporters to vote for it. Everyone can vote once per day.

The three top vote-getting nonprofits will be eligible to do a live three-minute pitch in front of conference attendees and a panel of judges for the grand prize.

Submissions can be uploaded until 11:59 p.m. March 2. Organizations must provide an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit exempt status determination letter by email to Cunningham prior to submitting a video and allow up to 24 hours for documentation review.
