JONESBORO — The Foundation of Arts will begin its November performances with a First Friday concert featuring Roy’s Smokin’ Revenge, a spinoff of the long-running local band Starroy. The pay-what-you-can event will be 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Breakfast with Ballerinas will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The longstanding fundraiser is a meet-and-greet with FOA Nutcracker ballerinas, featuring not only breakfast, but a shopping boutique, storytime with Clara, and a sneak-peek dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Tickets are $12 for children and $15 for adults.

“Dreamgirls” will take the stage at 7:30 pm., Nov. 13, 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 2 p.m. Nov. 15.

Arkansas Department of Health guidelines will be followed at all events.

This full-length musical chronicles a Motown group’s rise from obscurity to superstardom.

“A Christmas Carol: A Radio Play” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. The Christmas classic for the whole family will also be recorded live and aired on Jonesboro Radio Group Mix 106.3 Christmas station in December.

Tickets for Dreamgirls and A Christmas Carol are each $18 for adults and $15 for ASU/seniors/military/children 12 and younger for floor seating, and $16 and $13 respectively for balcony seating.
