JONESBORO — A 64-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a child, according to Jonesboro.
Police did not release the name of the suspect. The victim was a 14-year-old female.

Police arrested a Walnut Ridge man Thursday on suspicion of possession of met h or cocaine less than 2 grams and tampering with evidence, both felonies, and three misdemeanor traffic citation. Jeremy Elliot, 39, was pulled over on South Caraway Road. Police found the drugs on him.
Police arrested Emmett Bradberry, 43, of Jonesboro, on Wednesday after a traffic stop on Cartwright Street. Police said Bradberry possessed meth or cocaine less that 2 grams and drug paraphernalia, both felonies, and cited him for three misdemeanor traffic citations.
A Jonesboro man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of meth or cocaine, a felony. Police were dispatched to a laundry mat on Johnson Avenue about a report of a man offering to sell drugs. Javonte Lee, 27, was arrested on State Street.
A Jonesboro man reported to Craighead County deputies Wednesday that his 9 mm Kahr pistol was stolen from his vehicle in the last three or four days.
