Tuckerman picks up conference wins

Tuckerman Sr. Girls Kenadi Gardner, Raigan Head, and Kenzie Soden defend Sloan Hendrix in conference win Friday night.

Tuckerman Jr. High and Sr. Teams traveled to Imboden Friday night for their first conference games of the season against Sloan Hendrix. The Tuckerman Jr. Girls started off the night with the 31-20 conference win. Carley Boyd and Katie Clark led the Lady Dogs with 8 points each. The Jr. Girls now hold a 3-0 record on the season and are 1-0 in conference play.

In Sr. Girls action, Raigan Head and Kenzie Soden led the Lady Bulldogs to a 65-31 victory over Sloan Hendrix. Kenadi Gardner also added 10 points in the win. The Tuckerman Lady Bulldogs improve to 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

Tuckerman Jr. Boys fought hard against the Greyhounds but just couldn’t get over the hump. They fell to Sloan Hendrix 46-52. Waylon Tackett, Eli Tackett, and Ayden Scholtzhauer all had 13 points each for the Jr. Bulldogs. The Jr. Boys are now 7-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

Jayden Shannon’s hot shooting for the Bulldogs helped them secure the conference victory Friday. Shannon led Tuckerman with 29 points followed by Cameron Jones with 15 points and David Platt with 8 points. Tuckerman improves to 8-1 on the Season and 1-0 in conference play.
