'Be the Hero'

American Red Cross employee Teresa Barton assists Buster Bush, Jonesboro, in donating blood Wednesday morning at the annual “Be the Hero” Blood Drive at St. Bernards Senior Life Center in Jonesboro. Bush said he has donated blood ever since he joined the military and has received his 12-gallon pin. The event will continue from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Friday.
