JONESBORO — The 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force seized a large quantity of drugs and firearms on Wednesday, police said.

A Jonesboro police K9 unit was called in to assist the DTF at about 2:20 p.m. at the self storage business at 1020 Neil Drive. The K9 sniffed about 50 units and did an alert on locker 342 by sitting and staring, police said.

A search of the unit turned up:

7.11 ounces of heroin.

12.6 ounces of cocaine.

14 ounces of marijuana.

3 ounces of meth.

A Glock 9 mm.

A Springfield XD pistol.

.45 caliber rounds.

A Kel-tec Sub 2000 rifle.

A .45 caliber 1911.

A blued rifle with purple grips and three magazines.

And many rounds of ammunition.

Police have two suspects, a 25-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, both of Jonesboro.

Several of the guns were stolen from a Jonesboro pawn shop, the police report says.
