JONESBORO — A Paragould man was jailed Friday following a joint probe into child porn distribution.

The Jonesboro Police Department was tipped to the files Tuesday by the local FBI field office, according to a probable cause affidavit. Kik Messenger user “ijustlovekillin” shared three videos of girls as young as 3 years old engaging in sexual conduct with adults.

The information was forwarded from an FBI office in Milwaukee, Wis., then Jonesboro and finally to JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division. The suspect’s username and profile photo was seen in the third video, which is a screen recording of an illicit video.

The FBI subpoenaed the messaging service to get his email and Internet Protocol address, which is registered to Verizon Wireless.

A subpoena served to the cellphone company uncovered that it belonged to Nicholas Hamilton, 33. A second subpoena to Google for email subscription data confirmed Hamliton’s name and phone number.

Hamilton was arrested on a search warrant, documents show.

Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause Friday to charge him with distributing, possessing or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child and set a $250,000 bond for his pretrial release.

Detective Kelsey Chism said Hamilton may face more counts as JPD is still processing files.

It was unrelated to the ICAC division’s ongoing probe into child porn distribution involving Gary Mann, 64, of Harrisburg. Mann was arrested on April 1 for “sharing hundreds of sexually explicit photos and videos of children as young as 12 (years old),” according to previous Sun reporting.

Mann is still being held in the Poinsett County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond, records show. JPD public information specialist Sally Smith told The Sun on Friday that a second suspect was still being sought by police.
