Armed robbery reported
JONESBORO — A man reported Monday that he was robbed at gunpoint at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and South Bridge Street.
A red 2010 Dodge Charger, a wallet containing credit cards, state ID, $50 and a cellphone were among the items reported stolen, according to the Jonesboro Police Department incident report. Four unknown suspects are sought for aggravated assault.
In another report, an Illinois-based business owner was allegedly scammed by a merchant located in the 3500 block of East Nettleton Avenue.
JPD received an information packet Tuesday from the Naperville, Ill. Police Department showing a fraudulent business transaction and communications between the victim and suspect, 28, the report states.
“The victim is stating that after he sent the money for a product, the suspect ‘scammed’ him and stole his money. … The victim also claims that the suspect falsified some documents and/or emails to commit this fraud,” Officer Michael McCanless wrote.
The victim claims he was scammed out of $6,107. The alleged perpetrator is suspected of theft of property valued greater than $5,000 but less than $25,000.

200 block of Labaume Street, breaking or entering a white 2020 Toyota Camry, theft of a property valued at $1,000 or less, first-degree criminal mischief causing valued at $1,000 or less.
900 block of North Church Street, breaking or entering a blue 2018 Nissan Altima, breaking or entering a white 2018 GMC Terrain, theft of property valued at $1,000 or less from a vehicle.
Intersection of Belt Street and Melrose Street, theft of a maroon 2015 Hyundai Elantra.
700 block of East Word Avenue, residential burglary, first-degree criminal mischief causing property damage valued at $1,000 or less.
Bonds set for detainees
JONESBORO — Craighead County District Court Judge David Boling found probable cause Tuesday and set bonds for the following:
Roy Flowers, 60, of Jonesboro, possession of meth greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams; bond set at $25,000, cash or surety.
Thomas Haney, 45, of Jonesboro, possession of drug paraphernalia; bond set at $3,500, cash or surety.
Jerri Platz, 33, of Jonesboro, felony failure to appear; bond set at $2,500, cash or surety.
Brandon Sisler, 34, of Jonesboro, possession of meth greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams; bond set at $2,500, cash or surety.
Eric Thomas, 37, of Jonesboro, felony failure to appear; bond set at $2,500, cash or surety.
Rickey Walker, 48, of Forrest City, breaking or entering a vehicle; bond set at $75,000, cash or surety.
