Police investigate drive-by shooting
JONESBORO — A home was damaged Wednesday night during a drive-by shooting in the 2300 block of Westacre Drive.
Two residents were inside the home during the shooting, but officers didn’t observe injuries when they responded. About five bullet holes were found in the front door, window and vinyl siding, according to the incident report released by the Jonesboro Police Department.
Police seized seven .45 caliber casings, three .22 caliber casings and three bullet fragments from the scene. A black Chrysler 300 was seen “leaving at (a) high rate of speed,” but the vehicle’s involvement is unknown, the report indicated.
In another report, a man told police he was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning near the intersection of Curtview Drive and Race Street.
The victim, 53, was unharmed in the incident but the unknown suspect fled the scene with $98 in cash, the incident report indicates.

Circuit Judge David Boling found probable cause Wednesday to charge the following.
Carl Wilson, 42, of Jonesboro, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than 4 ounces; bond set at $10,000, cash or surety.
Michael Wilson, 21, of Jonesboro, first-degree terroristic threatening; bond set at $3,500, cash or surety.
Anthony Wright, 48, of Bono, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license; bond set at $2,000, cash or surety.
JPD probes threats, attack
JONESBORO – A suspect is sought by police as a woman claimed Tuesday that she was threatened and attacked in the 600 block of East Alpine Street.
The victim, 29, told the Jonesboro Police Department that she was sitting in her car when she heard something hit her black glass, according to the incident report. After inspecting the damage, she walked toward the driver’s door when the suspect “came up behind her and hit her in the face with his fist.”
The alleged perpetrator, 30, then attempted to strike her with a handgun, but missed. The man pointed the firearm to the side of her head and threatened to shoot her before fleeing the scene on foot.
If arrested, the suspect faces charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, third-degree domestic battery causing injury and first-degree criminal mischief causing property damage valued at $1,000 or less.
