Armed robbery suspect arrested

JONESBORO — A teen faces life imprisonment after police say he robbed a man of two guns and money.

The victim told police on Dec. 23 that Keisean Eddings, 18, of Jonesboro, was one of three men who robbed him in the 900 block of West Oak Avenue, according to the probable cause affidavit. One of the suspects held them at gunpoint while two others went through his pickup truck and took two firearms.

The victim also alleged that he was forced to give them access to his cellphone, during which one of the perpetrators transferred $200 via Cash App to himself, the affidavit read. His claims were corroborated by a witness, who said he was asked to exchange cash for a transfer.

District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge Eddings with aggravated robbery, theft of a firearm valued at $2,500 or less, theft of property valued at $1,000 or less; his bond was set at $125,000, cash or surety.
