Man arrested in burglary, attack
JONESBORO — A Bono man was arrested Monday evening after police say he forced himself into a home and attacked two people in the 1100 block of Warner Avenue.
Jonesboro police observed scratches along the back of the female victim, 28, according to the incident report. The second victim, a 27-year-old man, had scratches on his face, upper lip and right eye.
Paul Timmons, 41, was being held Tuesday in the Craighead County Detention Center on suspicion of residential burglary and third- degree battery causing injury, records show.
Neither victim was hospitalized for their minor injuries. Timmons caused $500 in damage to a door and wall of the home, the report read.
1800 block of Self Street, robbery, theft of property valued at $1,000 or less, third-degree battery.
4600 block of Lochmoor Circle, breaking or entering a maroon 2005 GMC, theft of property valued at $1,000 or less.
100 block of West Forrest Street, first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree criminal mischief, violation of a protection order.
2500 block of Half Acre Road, breaking or entering a black 2005 GMC Sierra, theft of property valued at $5,000 or less but greater than $1,000 from a vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief.
1300 block of West Huntington Avenue, theft of a firearm valued at less than $2,500.
Pizza Hut, 1109 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of credit/debit cards.
Sharp County court session rescheduled
CHEROKEE VILLAGE — The Sharp County District Court session scheduled for Friday in the Cherokee Village Division has been postponed.
Tentatively, these cases will be scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 11.
