Victims identified in fatal accident

JONESBORO – A Brookland man died and two others were injured Wednesday in a three-car pileup at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Highland Drive.

Jonesboro police officers were dispatched just before 6 p.m. in reference to “an accident with injury,” the department reported.

Brandon Sisler, 34, of Jonesboro, was driving eastbound on Highland, ran a red light and struck Keith Cessor’s vehicle, according to a preliminary crash summary released by Arkansas State Police. That, in turn, caused Cessor’s 2012 Honda Accord to hit Alan Keller’s Dodge Challenger.

Cessor, 39, of Brookland, succumbed to injuries he incurred. JPD officers observed damage to the passenger side and front bumper area of his vehicle.

Keller, 39, of Little Rock, and Sisler were transported to St. Bernards Medical Center for treatment, the ASP summary indicates. JPD reported that the vehicles of the surviving victims were damaged on the front end.
