Man accused of pointing revolver

JONESBORO — A Jonesboro man was arrested early Tuesday after the victim said he pointed a gun at her.

At about 1 a.m. Tuesday, officer Christopher Pigg was sent to the 400 block of Bradley Road about a robbery. He interviewed the victim who said she was assaulted by Donald Tinsley, 72, at his residence on Mitzi Lane. She said she went there to pick up clothing.

She said she owes Tinsley money and he pointed a revolver at her and said he was going to kill her.

Ainsley was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree terroristic threatening, both felonies, and misdemeanor second-degree criminal mischief.

Traffic stop leads to charges

JONESBORO — A traffic stop led to numerous charges against a Jonesboro man on Monday.

Officer Bruce Wright pulled over a silver car at the intersection of Rustic Cove and Westacre Drive for having expired tags.

After a search, the driver of the car, Antonio S. Steele, 30, of Jonesboro, was arrested on suspicion of simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, a felony, possession of oxycodone, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, also a felony.

Possession of cocaine alleged

A Jonesboro man was arrested when police discovered him to be in possession of cocaine, according a police report.

Philip Anthony Beebe, 38, was arrested 3:23 p.m. Monday after an officer saw him walking on Word Avenue where a sidewalk was available.

Beebe was found to be in possession of .33 gram of cocaine, a felony.

The following incidents were reported to the Jonesboro Police Department:

Antonio Harris was arrested on suspicion of felony third-degree domestic battering after police said he assaulted a female in the 900 block of Scott street at 5:22 a.m. Tuesday.

A felony aggravated assault was reported at 8:13 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Marshall Street. The victim said the suspect fired a gun at him. No arrest was made.

A felony residential burglary was reported at 6:10 p.m. Saturday. Police responded to a call at the 4200 block of Manila St. in Jonesboro in reference to a burglary. The victim reported two televisions and $15 was stolen while she was out of town.

Felony third-degree domestic battering, felony terroristic act and a misdemeanor theft of less than $1,000 were reported Saturday in the 3400 block of Dan Avenue. The complainant said her daughter was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.

A felony residential burglary was reported Saturday. The resident told police at 12:37 p.m. that his house was broken into in the 5200 block of Prospect Road. A television, gaming system and various articles of clothing were taken.
