TRUMANN — Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to identify a woman who was struck by a car last Thursday night, Trumann Police Chief Chad Henson said Monday.

Trumann police responded at 8:54 p.m. to a report that a woman had been struck by a vehicle on Industrial Park Drive. Reports from witnesses stated the female might have been lying across the road before the accident, according to a news release issued Thursday night.

The white female was said to have been wearing a black T-shirt when seen walking near the Walmart Supercenter.
