JONESBORO — Police arrested Quadares Bettes, 22, of Osceola, at 3 a.m. Monday on suspicion of simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, driving on a canceled driver’s license, failure to appear and failure to use a turn signal.

Bettes was release later Monday after posting a $75,000 bail.

In other cases:

Police arrested David Yates, 30, of Jonesboro, on suspicion of possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams, possession of Schedule III greater than 2 grams but less than 28 grams, possession of Schedule IV or V less than 28 grams and possession of marijuana less than 4 ounces. He was released on a $500 bond.

Arrested Curtis Ashcraft, 32, of Pine Bluff, Saturday on suspicion of residential burglary, resisting arrest and theft of $1,000 or less in the 2800 block of Fox Meadow Lane; $25,000 bond.

Arrested Jenny Holland, 29, of Bono, Sunday on suspicion of possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams, possession of Schedule IV or V drugs less than 28 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and revocation of probation; $3,500 bond.

Arrested David Fowler, 21, of Bono, on suspicion of aggravated assault on a family or household member on Saturday in the 800 block of West Monroe Avenue. Police were called about a disturbance involving weapons. A handgun was discovered. He was released Monday on a $10,000 bond.

Arrested Chance Gibson, 20, of Paragould, on suspicion of aggravated assault and second-degree battery on Thursday after police said he rammed another vehicle on purpose, causing injuries. He was released Monday after posting a $25,000 bond.

Arrested Ashley Harris, 25, of Alexander, on Sunday on suspicion of possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia; $1,000 bond.

Arrested Jeremy Wells, 38, of Jonesboro, possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams; released on bail.

Arrested Eric Brooks, 19, of Jonesboro, simultaneous possession a a firearm and drugs, possession of Schedule I or II not meth or cocaine less than 2 grams; released Monday on $50,000 bond.

Arrested Christopher Garner, 52, of Paragould, possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams and possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver; released on bond Monday.

Arrested Aquinas Starks, 34, of Jonesboro, and Collins Fingers, 40, no address given, Tuesday at the intersection of Washington Avenue and U.S. 63 on suspicion of possession of meth or cocaine greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams, possession of meth or cocaine greater than 2 grams but less than 10 grams.
