BONO — Annette Marie Henson, 59, of Bono passed from this life Thursday, April 15, 2021, at home with her family by her side.

She was born on July 29, 1961, in Walnut Ridge to Chester and Loretta Mae Brown. Annette had resided in Northeast Arkansas her entire life and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Sedgwick.

In Annette’s earlier years she was a track star at Hoxie High School.

Throughout her life, Annette loved traveling, fishing and spending her time at Greers Ferry Lake surrounded by her family.

Annette also enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s ball games.

Annette is survived by her mother, Loretta Tillman of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Ashley Doyle of Jonesboro and Heather (Josh) Brand of Imboden; sister, Sherry Manning of Walnut Ridge; and the ones who called her ‘Mee-mee,” three grandchildren, Marca Doyle, Natalie Jo Brand and Nicole Marie Brand; along with a host of other friends and family members who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Craig Lee officiating.

Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery with active pallbearers being Josh Brand, BJ Kirby, Keith Harp, Tosh Manning, Ryan Manning and Gerald Chesier.

Honorary pallbearers will include the Arkansas Xtreme Softball team and Hoxie Class of 1979.
