BONO — Barbara Williams, 86, of Bono, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, at her home.

She was born May 30, 1934, in Jonesboro to W.C. and Gladys Minton Gage.

She was a cashier and office worker at Warehouse Foods for over 20 years until retirement.

Barbara was a member of Herman Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for the ladies class for over 35 years.

She loved arts and crafts.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Edward Williams; a son, Ronald Williams; a great-grandson, Hank Williams; great-granddaughter, Mallory Williams; and a brother, Billy Dean Gage.

Survivors include a son, Billy Williams and wife Joyce; five grandchildren, Michael Williams, Shannon Williams, Tyler Williams, Jason Williams and Robert Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rufus Gage and wife Gail; and a sister, Glenda Wilkins.

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Herman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Ave. in Jonesboro.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing is to be observed.
