PARAGOULD — Patricia “Darlynda” Penn, 58, of Paragould, passed from this life Monday, July 27, 2020, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. Born in Blytheville, she had been a Paragould resident since 1977.
She was a former employee of Nestle and had been a longtime employee of St. Bernards Medical Center and NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, both in Jonesboro.
Her passion in life was serving the Lord and attending church at Christian Life Center in Brookland where she was a member. She loved her family, her church family and her dogs.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Paul Randall “Randy” Penn of Paragould; two sons, Jeremy Anderson and his wife Lauren of Marmaduke and Gregory Anderson and his wife Ash-lyn Monette of Clarksville, Tenn.; her parents, Charles and Pat Ford Bradford Sr. of Paragould; and two brothers, Charles Wade Bradford Jr. and his wife Anita of Bald Knob and Brett Bradford and his wife Dana of Paragould.
She also leaves six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Christian Life Center in Brookland with Pastor Scott Trayler officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
In compliance with Arkansas State Department of Health guidelines, attendance will be limited and face masks will be required. Social distancing will be practiced at all times.
