WALNUT RIDGE — Jon David James, 59, of Walnut Ridge passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020, in Memphis. David was born May 5, 1961, in Pocahontas, to Billy Ray and Edwina James.

David is survived by his parents; wife, Darlene James, and daughter, Chloe James, of the home; son, Jon Cameron James of Little Rock; stepdaughter, Ashley Garrison of Paragould; and stepgrandchild, Colby Benton; and sister, Donna James of Little Rock.

All services will be held Tuesday in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home in Pocahontas. A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow, beginning at 2 p.m. with Larry Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Gardens at Pocahontas.

Pallbearers will be Joey Lemmons, Gary Bibb, Brad French, Gary Alphin, Bob Lynch and Chad Chester.

Honorary pallbearers will include Anthony Benton, Colby Benton, Dave Wilson, Glen Hausman, Joe Vandergriff, Hayden Andrews and Kevin Foster.

COVID-19 restrictions are in effect. Those attending must follow the directives issued by the governor of Arkansas that include, but are not limited to, the following: wearing a face covering, signing the contact registry and maintaining social distancing at all times.
