HARRISBURG — James Dean Terry of Harrisburg departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at his home at the age of 40. He was born Oct. 13, 1980, in West Memphis, the son of Dean Terry and Sandra Stovall Terry.

James graduated from Harrisburg High School and finished mechanic’s school in Marked Tree. He worked several years for the Ford dealership in West Memphis and then became self-employed.

He loved riding four-wheelers and side-by-sides and enjoyed pretty trucks. He really loved fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his father, Dean Terry, one sister, Mary Jane Terry, a nephew, John Wesley “Ridge” Taylor, and a longtime, loving friend, April Easter, all of Harrisburg.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Terry in 2010.

Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Friday in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery with Larry Loggains officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tim Denton, Don Reynolds, Adam Coin, Johnny Barnhill, Parker Smith and Brandon Bornhoft.

Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg has been entrusted with the services.
