JONESBORO — Joe Kay Primm, 84, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Caraway to the late William and Cleve Earl Primm. Joe worked at Jac’s Appliance for over 47 years.
He was loved by his family and enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up. He also enjoyed bowling and was a Cardinals fan. Everyone loved him and he loved them back.
His favorite quote was, “I’ll give you a wooden nickel.”
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ruby Primm, his children Susan Primm Farr (Steve) and Mike Primm; grandchildren Misty Mink (Matt), Samantha Clark, Autumn Edwards (Eric), Eric Timmons (Britany) and Aaron Primm (Larrisa); brothers Bruce Primm and McArthur Primm, sister Shelby Tate; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son Terry Primm, grandson Brandon Primm; and his siblings Pansy Howell, Shirley Williams, Alvin Primm, J.T. Primm and Donald Wayne Primm.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at Walnut Street Baptist Church.
A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. at Walnut Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Elkins officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
