PARAGOULD — Robert Scott Jackson, 70, of Paragould, “Took his heavenly flight” Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Bob was a banker for many years, an avid commercial pilot, well-known cake designer and was currently chief financial officer of four Paragould corporations.

Bob graduated from Arkansas State University and received his master’s degree from Louisiana State University.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maj. Buren Jackson, Arkansas State Police, and wife, Ruth Sheffield Jackson, and his beloved dachshund, Jelly.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Collier Jackson of the home; sons, David C. (Faith) Pigue and Ron (Penny) Pigue, all of Paragould, and Robert “Rob” Scott (Keilyn) Jackson of Virginia; special adopted daughter, Judith Taylor Wheelis; sister, Carolyn (Ron) Hames of Houston, Texas; brothers-in-law, Dr. Jon (Ranae) Collier and Mack (Patricia) Toombs; grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander, Ashton, Clint and Eric Pigue, Ty Garner, Ashley Inman and Jeilyn, Charlie and Caleb Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Victoria Brook Pigue, Chloe Grace Pigue and Skylynn Inman.

Visitation and memorial service were Thursday at Heath Funeral Home with Dr. Barry Anderson officiating.

Pallbearers were grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander, Ashton, Clint, Eric Pigue and Ty Garner.
