JONESBORO – Thelma Becker, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home. She was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Egypt to David and Dorothy Davis Jordan.
Thelma retired from Barton’s and was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church. She loved square dancing, games, sewing and crocheting.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Maudie Spurlock and Lallie Mae Blankenship.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Becker; a son, Tim (Jennifer) Becker; a daughter, Sheila (Tom) Collins; five grandchildren, Terren (Travis) Davis, Chasity (Nick) Bagwell, Meagan Becker, Lauren Becker and Layton Huskey; four great-grandchildren, Aiden Davis, Baylor Bagwell, Blythe Davis and Owen Bagwell; three brothers, James (Debbie) Jordan, Robert (Rena) Jordan and Doyle (Sharon) Jordan; and three sisters, Bessie (Carl) Fagan, Virginia Worley and Liz (Jim) Tate.
Chapel services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave. in Jonesboro, with Jim Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Jones, Travis Davis, Nick Bagwell, Layton Huskey, Perry Tate and Darrell Worley.
