PARAGOULD — Head hoops coach Chris Perkins announced Tuesday the addition of three Arkansas athletes to the Crowley’s Ridge College program.
Marmaduke’s Cory Burk, Crowley’s Ridge Academy’s Griffin Hogue and Micah Duncan of Paris (Logan County) have inked to play for the Pioneers.
Burk is a 5-8 guard hailing from Marmaduke. The Pioneer newcomer graduated in 2018 after playing three seasons for the Greyhounds.
Hailing from Jonesboro, Hogue spent his prep days at Crowley’s Ridge Academy. The 5-10 point guard played for the Falcons until his graduation in 2017.
Duncan, a 6-2 guard from Paris is a transfer from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.
Duncan was a shooting threat from anywhere on the court. In his senior season as an Eagle, he averaged 16.1 points per game, including a season-high mark of 32 points. A three-year starter for Paris High, he was named to the 1st Team All-Conference squad in his sophomore and junior campaigns.
