WEST MEMPHIS — West Memphis rallied in the fourth quarter Friday to escape with a 57-55 victory over Nettleton in 5A-East conference senior boys’ basketball.

The Raiders (6-9, 0-3) led 28-26 at halftime and extended their lead to 47-34 at the end of the third quarter. West Memphis rallied to tie the game at 52 and took the lead for good at 54-53 in the final two minutes.

Israel Malone and Jeremiah Turner scored 13 points each to lead Nettleton, followed by Brandon Anderson with 12.

Rector 65, Ridgefield Christian 63

JONESBORO — Rector edged Ridgefield Christian 65-63 in overtime Friday night in senior boys’ basketball.

The Cougars led much of the night, including 20-13 after the first quarter, 31-24 at halftime and 43-32 at the end of the third quarter. The Warriors (12-6) rallied to tie the game at 59 to end regulation, with freshman Doss McDaniel sinking a game-tying 3-pointer to force overtime.

Kameron Jones scored 28 points and Cooper Rabjohn added 18 for Rector. Garrett Finnicum led Ridgefield Christian with 35 points, including 19 in the fourth quarter and overtime combined. Noah Stracener added 12 points.

Thursday night, Ridgefield Christian routed West Side Greers Ferry, the third-ranked team in Class 1A, 68-52.

Finnicum scored 32 points to lead the Warriors to the road victory. Stracener added 14 points, while Isaiah Ellenburg finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Malachi Miller scored 21 points and Travis Gentry added 15 for West Side Greers Ferry.

Ridgefield opened a 20-10 lead in the first quarter, then led 36-21 at halftime after Will Archer’s buzzer-beating 3-pointer. The Warriors held a 51-36 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Trumann 61, Westside 57

TRUMANN — Trumann rallied to defeat Westside 61-57 in overtime Saturday in 4A-3 senior boys’ basketball.

The Wildcats trailed 16-7 after the first quarter and 24-11 at halftime. Trumann pulled within 33-27 at the end of the fourth quarter and sank five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 52 to end regulation.

Andrew Osment scored 15 points to lead Trumann. Devin Miles and Ja’qavious Love added 12 points each, while Milton Lewis finished with 10.

Andrew Laird scored 16 points and Adonis Thomas added 12 for Westside (4-7).

Thursday night, Westside suffered a 62-55 loss at Highland. The Warriors led 20-10 after the first quarter, 37-18 at halftime and 49-40 after the third quarter.

Tate Isaacs scored 27 points to lead Highland. Camden Rhodes added 18 points for the Rebels and Nate Kulcyzcki finished with 12.

Jackson Wolf scored 18 points for Westside and Laird chipped in with 13.

Manila 74, Piggott 23

MANILA — Manila kept its 3A-3 conference record perfect Friday night with a 74-23 rout of Piggott in senior boys’ basketball.

Ty Wagner scored 25 points to lead the Lions, followed by Jake Baltimore with 13 and Brayden Nunnally with 10. Manila (10-3, 5-0 conference) led 39-13 at halftime and 64-18 after the third quarter.

Manila won the junior high game 49-15, led by Luke Kirk with 18 points and Rex Farmer with 15.

BIC 72, EPC 62

MONETTE — Jaron Burrow and Jesse Kinard combined for 50 points Thursday night as Buffalo Island Central defeated East Poinsett County 72-62 in 2A-3 senior boys’ basketball.

Burrow made six 3-point shots on the way to 28 points. Kinard added 22 points for the Mustangs (8-8, 4-2 conference).

Dawson Stewart finished with 10 points for BIC, which led 22-14 after the first quarter, 36-23 at halftime and 51-43 after three quarters.

Larrie Bell III scored 22 points to lead EPC, followed by Deuce Moore and Preston Raines with 11 each.

BIC (11-3, 5-0 conference) won the junior boys’ game 48-41 as Nicholas Patterson scored 22 points. Cooper Argo led EPC with 10 points.

Tuckerman 48, Riverside 44TUCKERMAN — Tuckerman held off Riverside for a 48-44 victory Friday night in senior boys’ basketball.

The Bulldogs (14-6) led 28-19 at halftime and 41-32 after the third quarter. Cameron Jones finished with 16 points to lead Tuckerman, followed by Jayden Shannon, David Platt, Jamy Fears and Anthony Holladay with eight each. Brennen Laird scored 14 points and M.J. Wilkinson added 13 for Riverside (9-8).

Tuckerman (15-5) won the junior boys’ game 40-23 over Riverside (12-4), led by Finley Lancaster with 19 points and Waylon Tackett with 12. Harrison McAnally scored 10 points for Riverside.

Riverside took the seventh-grade game 37-22.

Tuckerman 68, Hoxie 50

TUCKERMAN — Cameron Jones finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists Thursday as Tuckerman defeated Hoxie 68-50 in senior boys’ basketball.

Jayden Shannon added 21 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Bulldogs while shooting 5-of-9 from the 3-point line. David Platt chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds for Tuckerman.

ShunDerrick Powell led Hoxie with 14 points. Daylon Powell added 13 points and six rebounds, while Cade Forrester contributed 12 points and three assists.

Tuckerman pulled away after leading just 29-27 at halftime. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 45-38 at the end of the third quarter.

Gosnell 68, Hoxie 63

HOXIE — Gosnell controlled the fourth quarter Friday night to defeat Hoxie 68-63 in 3A-3 senior boys’ basketball.

The Pirates led 25-15 after the first quarter, only to see the Mustangs rally within 38-35 at halftime and take a 59-52 lead at the end of the third quarter. Gosnell outscored Hoxie 16-4 in the fourth quarter.

Cooper Pieri and T.J. Reed scored 14 points each to lead Gosnell. Mason Woodard led Hoxie with 24 points and Daylon Powell added 15.

Gosnell won the junior boys’ game 34-31 as Parker Wells scored 18 points. Jake Jones led Hoxie with 20 points.

CRA 57, Hillcrest 48

PARAGOULD — Will Layne scored 55 points over two nights to lead Crowley’s Ridge Academy to its first senior boys’ victories of the season.

Layne scored 29 points Friday night to lead the Falcons to a 57-48 victory over 1A-3 conference foe Hillcrest. Jace Elms added 13 points for CRA (2-6, 2-2 conference).

The Falcons opened a 29-16 halftime lead by outscoring the Screamin’ Eagles 17-10 in the second quarter. Hillcrest pulled within 39-35 at the end of the third quarter.

Caleb James led Hillcrest with 23 points.

Thursday night, Layne scored 26 points as CRA won 65-60 at Armorel in another 1A-3 contest. Elms and Kayden Trout added 12 points each for the Falcons (1-6, 1-3 conference).

Friday night, Hillcrest edged CRA 27-23 in overtime in junior boys’ basketball, dropping the Junior Falcons to 3-1 in the conference. Jesse Beliew scored 11 points for CRA.

Hillcrest defeated CRA 47-18 in junior girls’ basketball. Ava Summitt led CRA with six points.

Piggott 67, Sloan-Hendrix 59IMBODEN — Shawn-Hudson Seegraves scored 25 points Thursday night to lead Piggott to a 67-59 victory over Sloan-Hendrix in senior boys’ basketball.

Logan Ralph added 13 points for the Mohawks. Braden Cox scored 20 points and Ethan Lee added 12 for Sloan-Hendrix.

Annie Camp 49, Batesville 15BATESVILLE — Annie Camp kept its conference record perfect Thursday with a 49-15 rout of Batesville in junior boys’ basketball.

Devin Smith scored 13 points and Terrance Brown added nine for the Whirlwinds (7-2 overall, 7-0 conference).

Annie Camp won the eighth-grade game 29-19.

MacArthur 51, Paragould 26PARAGOULD — Kelen Smith scored 24 points Thursday as MacArthur rolled past Paragould 51-26 in junior boys’ basketball.

Kenyan Carter added 12 points for the Cyclones (7-3).
