JONESBORO — Blytheville’s Kylan Wells sank a 3-pointer to force overtime Monday night and the Chickasaws went on to defeat Valley View 58-56 in 4A-3 conference senior boys’ basketball.

The Chickasaws (13-2, 4-0 conference) won despite trailing most of regulation. The Blazers (7-6, 1-3 conference) led 15-6 after the first quarter, 29-15 at halftime and 39-35 after three quarters. Wells’ 3 in the final seconds helped Blytheville tie the game at 53 to end regulation.

Johnny Anderson scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half to help the Chicks rally. Brian Jones added 13 points; Ty’Reonn King chipped in with 11 points, including 3-of-3 shooting from the 3-point line in the second half; and Wells finished with 10 points.

CJ Delancy led Valley View with 29 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots. Caleb Allen had 10 points and eight rebounds, while Connor Tinsley finished with nine points.

Blytheville won the junior high game 49-43 as Travis Anderson scored 20 points and Elijah Donnerson added 17. Carson Turley scored 16 points and Brian Huff added nine for Valley View (10-4, 2-2 conference).

Ridgefield 67, Sloan-Hendrix 45

JONESBORO — Garrett Finnicum scored 29 points and Isaiah Ellenburg finished with a double-double Monday as Ridgefield Christian rolled past Sloan-Hendrix 67-45 in senior boys’ basketball.

Ellenburg contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors (10-5). Ridgefield pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Sloan-Hendrix 20-11 to take a 46-31 lead.

Braden Cox and Kyle Roark scored 12 points each to lead Sloan-Hendrix.

Riverside 65, NEACHE 39

LAKE CITY — Riverside opened a 19-point halftime lead Monday night and went on to defeat Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators 65-39 in senior boys’ basketball.

The Rebels (9-7) led 20-8 after the first quarter, 38-19 at halftime and 54-28 after the third quarter. Brennen Laird scored 15 points, Ethan Boatman 11 and Dennis Williams 10 for Riverside. Jack Henry Glasgow scored 13 points and Rhett Strait 11 for NEACHE.

Brookland 48, Highland 26

HIGHLAND — Brookland kept its 4A-3 conference record perfect Monday night with a 48-26 victory over Highland.

Landon Hendrix scored 16 points and Jackson Ballard added 11 for the Bearcats (8-3, 4-0 conference).

Riverside 68, NEACHE 22

LAKE CITY — Riverside defeated Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators 68-22 in senior girls’ basketball Monday.

Gracie Washington scored 14 points to lead the Lady Rebels (7-7). Ali Towles and Mackenzie Thomas added 13 points each for Riverside, followed by Hannah Gosa with 12.

Annie Camp 43, Paragould 33

JONESBORO — Devin Smith scored 15 points Monday to lead Annie Camp to a 43-33 victory over Paragould in junior boys’ basketball.

Terrance Brown added 11 points and Markevious Pickett chipped in with nine for the Whirlwinds (6-2, 6-0 conference).

Nettleton 54, WM West 8

JONESBORO — Carmen McShan scored 24 points Monday as Nettleton routed West Memphis West 54-8 in junior girls’ basketball.

Makila Hill added 10 points for the Junior Lady Raiders (10-2, 6-0 conference), who shut out West Memphis West in the second half.

Mtn. Home 21, MacArthur 20

JONESBORO — A late 3-pointer lifted Mountain Home to a 21-20 victory over MacArthur in junior girls’ basketball Monday.

Eljanae Daniels scored eight points to lead MacArthur, which outscored Mountain Home 8-3 in the third quarter to take a 14-12 lead.

Mtn. Home 26, MacArthur 22

JONESBORO — Mountain Home defeated MacArthur 26-22 in junior boys’ basketball Monday.

MacArthur is 6-3 on the season. The Cyclones won the eighth-grade game.
