PARAGOULD — K.J. Corder signed with Chris Parker’s Pioneers Friday, opting to continue his collegiate career at Crowley’s Ridge College after finishing his time at National Park (Mo.) College.
The 6-2 guard was a force on the hardwood for the Nighthawks in 2018-19. He averaged 11.3 points per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the floor. The Hot Springs. native is a threat from all over the court, but especially from long range: averaging 45.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Corder dropped a season-high 26 points on February 26th, 2019 against Southern Arkansas Tech College. For comparisons’ sake: only Kyle Moore (32), Randy Stanley (32), and Bo Roberson (29) had more points in a game this season for the Pioneers.
Corder will take to the hardwood with a former teammate. Corder joined forces with Logan Willett for National Park College in 2018-19 before Willett made the move to Paragould.
