PARAGOULD — Lady Pioneer head coach Jordan Malone announced Thursday the addition of two more local players to her 2021 roster at Crowley’s Ridge College.
Wynne High’s Makayla Waldrep and Three Rivers (Mo.) Community College’s Adrienne Stucker will suit up for the Lady ‘Neers.
Splitting her time between catcher and the outfield, Makayla Waldrep will join CRC from Wynne High School. The former Yellowjacket had one game under her belt in her senior year before the coronavirus pandemic caused the remainder of her final season short.
Also joining Coach Malone’s squad is Three Rivers (Mo.) Community College transfer Adrienne Stucker. The right-handed hurler appeared in 23 games for the Raiders, mostly in relief.
In her two years wearing the yellow and black, Stucker nearly fanned more batters than she allowed hits, striking out 44 and allowing just 45 hits. All while maintaining a sensational 2.73 ERA.
