PARAGOULD — Head Coach Brad Phillips and Assistant Coach Jessica Segraves have signed three student-athletes as the newest members of the 2020-21 Lady Pioneer Women’s Basketball team – Travia Woodruff, Mickayla Smith, and Kiyuana Foster.

Travia Woodruff comes to Pioneer Nation from Nettleton High School. Woodruff will enter the collegiate stage at the point guard position. She was 5A East All-Conference player and third in program history in assists. The Nettleton Lady Raiders won the 5A State Championship and posted an 82-11 record with Woodruff on the floor in her career.

Mickayla Smith graduated from Hillcrest High School in Strawberry. Smith will play at the guard position for the Lady Pioneers. She was named to the All-Battle of the Border Tournament team, 1A All-District, and 1A All-Region. The Lady Eagles were Conference and District Runner-Up and qualified for the 1A State Tournament.

Kiyuana Foster hails from Brookwood High School in Vance, Ala. Foster will add to the guard position at the collegiate level for CRC. She averaged 15 ppg, four steals, and seven assists per game. Foster was awarded team MVP three years in a row, Best Defender two years in a row, and All-Area Tournament Team three years in a row.
