HARRISBURG -- Samuel Moore threw for two touchdowns and ran for another Friday as Harrisburg wrapped up its regular season with a 56-28 win over Manila.
The Hornets finish the regular season at 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the 3A-3 conference and will be a No. 4 seed for the state playoffs, which kick off next week.
Moore got things started for Harrisburg with a 2-yard run for a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.
A 3-yard run from James Pender put the Hornets up 14-0 before Manila's Clint McKaskle scored on a 77-yard run to cut the lead to 14-6.
Moore found Jacob Wallace for a 44-yard touchdown pass to give Harrisburg a 21-6 advantage later in the second before Pender added a 14-yard run before halftime as the Hornets led 28-14 at the break.
Wallace scored on a 13-yard run in the third, and Ross Heeb had a 32-yard touchdown run to push the Harrisburg lead to 42-14.
Moore then found Jaden Gipson for a 19-yard touchdown pass, and Connor Castle scored on a 1-yard run to give Harrisburg a 56-22 lead.
Manila finishes its season at 2-8 overall and 0-7 in the 3A-3.
