Two people are dead after an early-morning house fire in Ravenden on Sunday morning.
According to Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell, the fire occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday at a home on Homestead Train in Randolph County.

Two people are dead after an early-morning house fire in Ravenden on Sunday morning.
According to Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell, the fire occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday at a home on Homestead Train in Randolph County.
Sheriff Bell stated that a resident on the property where the house was located had woken up to the fire and tried to get inside the home to rescue the couple but was unable to due to flames.
A male and female in their 70s were killed in the house fire.
Emergency officials from the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department, Ravenden Springs, Pocahontas Fire Department and the Dalton Fire Department responded to the scene. No foul play was suspected.
