BATR shirt wins AFEA honor
While the 2020 Beatles at the Ridge festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers created a festival T-shirt featuring The Beatles in masks with the phrase “Come together next year” on Ringo’s drum. That T-shirt, shown here by (from left) Mayor Charles Snapp, Jackie Snapp and Jon Walter, won best T-Shirt at the Arkansas Festival & Events Association’s 37th annual conference held online Feb. 2-4. A limited supply of the shirt is still available at the Storage in a Snapp office in Walnut Ridge or online at www.beatlesattheridge.com.
