Lawrence County COVID-19 numbers remain low with no new deaths reported in the last several weeks.

The Arkansas Department of Health reported 11 new cases among Lawrence County residents from Tuesday of last week until Monday. As of Monday, the ADH website reported a total cumulative case count of 2,095, up from 2,084 the previous week.

Eight new recoveries were recorded during the week, as well, taking the number of those who have recovered from the virus from 2,029 last week to 2,037 this week.

The active case count showed a slight increase, going from 12 active cases on Tuesday of last week to 15 active cases as of Monday.

The number of COVID- related deaths reported among Lawrence County residents remains at 43.
