Halloween in the Park is success

JA member Ashley Story fills the bucket of a trick-or-treater at the Junior Auxiliary of Lawrence County’s booth during Saturday night’s Halloween in the Park event at Stewart Park in Walnut Ridge. Helping pass out candy is JA Crown Club member Abby Lillard (left). The drive-through event, which was sponsored by the Walnut Ridge police and fire departments, was held in place of the normal Trunk or Treat due to social distancing guidelines. It is estimated that more than 1,000 children attended the event.
