Snapp thanked for leadership

H.T. Moore, a member of the Walnut Ridge High School class of 1965, presents Walnut Ridge Mayor Charles Snapp with a 78 of Carl Perkins’ Blue Suede Shoes to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first Beatles at the Ridge Festival and the attractions like the Guitar Walk that have been added in Walnut Ridge. “He was always looking ahead to the next project,” Moore said of Snapp’s leadership in the festival and tourism efforts. “Even before he was mayor, his leadership was instrumental.” This year’s festival was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic, but plans are underway for the 2022 event.
