Barbara Ann Slatton, 80, of Walnut Ridge, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Walnut Ridge, to the late Ed and Lucille (Smith) Manus. She was united in marriage to J.C. Slatton on March 14, 1986. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nancy McClain and Peggy Mick; and her former husband, Harold Ross.

Survivors include her beloved husband, J.C. Slatton, of the home; three sons, Perry (Peggy) Manus of Walnut Ridge, Mark (Teri Lynn) Ross of Jonesboro and Bobby (Marsha) Ross of Hot Springs; one daughter, Carlotta (Randy) Ragsdale of Hot Springs; two sisters, Patsy Walker and Meda Lou Colby, both of Berryville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral was Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Bryan Funeral Home with Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.

Pallbearers included her grandsons, Travis Ragsdale, Ian Ross, Zack, Bobby, Graham and Hunter Manus.
