Billy O. Anglin, 84, of Hoxie, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 10, 1935, in Hoxie, to Wilburn Anglin and Lucille Kildow Anglin. Billy was the patriarch of a large family and he loved them all dearly. He was a truck driver for 50 years and had been riding with his son as of late. He was a member of New Beginnings Family Worship.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aline Anglin; brothers, Herschel Anglin, Mike Anglin and Kenneth Anglin; sisters, Kathy Lowe and Helen Dolores Anglin; grandson, John David Anglin; and honorary son, Cliff Anderson.

He is survived by his sons, David (Debbie) Anglin of Portia and Tim (Keli) Anglin of College Station, Texas; daughters, Norma Young of Walnut Ridge, and Deanna (Arnold) Culpepper of Millington, Tenn.; brothers, Wiley (Alice) Anglin, Sonny Anglin, Rick (Carline) Anglin, all of Hoxie, Scotty (Cindy) Anglin of Ravenden, and Randy Anglin of Maryville, Tenn.; sisters, Linda Anglin Hurst of Hoxie and Pat Anglin-Guilliams of Ravenden; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was Monday, Oct. 12, from 9-10 a.m. at New Beginnings Family Worship Church in Hoxie. Funeral services began at 10 with Rick Anglin officiating. Interment was in Lawrence Memorial Park under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge and Lynn.
