Carol Dean Lee, 84, of Pocahontas, died May 29, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born Oct. 26, 1936, in Alicia, he was the son of the late Orval C. “O.C.” and Mollie Baker Lee. He was an iron worker for most his life, but his passion was to be on his cattle farm. He loved the outdoors and working with his livestock. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mae Jean; his son, Stephen Ray Lee; and a granddaughter, Lucy Beasley.

Survivors include his three daughters, Yvonne (Ron) Anderson of Charleston, W.Va., Becky (Vance) Jones of Beebe and Sandy (Kevin) Dexter of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren, Stephen, Ronda, Tosha, Tristia, NataLee, Chance, Timothy, Johnathan, Adam, Amanda and Alissa; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orval “Jr.” (Merlene) Lee of Phoenix, and Jerry Wayne (Shirley) Lee of Bono; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was Tuesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie. Pallbearers were his family and friends. Interment was in Strangers Home Cemetery.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
