Charles “Butch” Meeker, 70, of Hoxie, died Friday, April 9, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Jan. 29, 1951, in Walnut Ridge, to Floyd Meeker and Lois Heard Meeker. He worked for Skil Corporation and was of Pentecost belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgia Ann Gullett and Diane Mize; and brothers, Dink Meeker, Junior Meeker and Ronnie Meeker.

He is survived by his son, James Meeker; brothers, Ray (Peggy) Meeker and Billy (Ann) Meeker; sister, Kathy (Ronnie) Young; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation for Butch was Monday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Funeral services were at House-Gregg Funeral Home on Tuesday April 13, at 10 a.m. with Tony Becker and Ray Meeker officiating. Interment was in Whittaker Cemetery.
