Christopher James White Sr., 54, of Walnut Ridge, died Monday, June 7, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born Dec. 27, 1966, in Stockton, Calif., to Claudia Merritt White. He was a former restaurant owner and a handyman who could fix anything. He loved his church. He attended Main Street Church of Christ and helped with the Overcomer’s Program by cooking, repairing things and cleaning. He loved float trips on the river and visiting his children and grandchildren in Illinois.

He was preceded in death by is mother, Claudia.

He is survived by his wife, Linda White, of Walnut Ridge; son, Christopher James White Jr. of Roxana, Ill.; daughters, Marisa (Thomas) Kelley of Shipman, Ill., Brittany White of Granite City, Ill., and Desiree Ferrari of Riverton, Ill.; grandchildren, Maysen, McKinzley, Bradyn, Kayleigh and Christopher James White III; brother, Charlie White of Durant, Okla.; and many other friends and loved ones.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
