Donald David “Duck” Moore, 64, of Smithville, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 18, 1955, in Rockford, Ill., to Burling James Moore and Lilly Mary Ross Moore. He was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He had lived in the Smithville for over 24 years. He was retired from Farm Service and was of Baptist belief, attending Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years, Debbie Castleberry Moore of the home; daughter, Felisha Moore (Slade Reed) of Lynn; sons, Chad (Kalinda) Moore of Eaton, Tim Moore of Brookland, and Jason (Ashley) Moore of Brookland; sister, Rose (Donnie) Humes of Black Rock; Ruth Moore of Hoxie, and Betty Daugherty of Jonesboro; brother, Tim Moore of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Dagan, Mallory, Brynlee, Mason, Ava and Phoebe; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 21, from 5-7 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, near Eaton, with Bro. Don Winfrey officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
