Emma Lee Ferguson, 86, of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on Monday, May 31, 2021, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro.

She was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Cabool, Mo., to the late Henry Allen and Mammie Maudie Lee McDonald Vaughn. She was united in marriage to Harold Clinton Ferguson on July 28, 1950, in Rupert, Idaho. She was a homemaker and was employed at Frolic Footwear during her lifetime. She was a member of the Main St. Church of Church.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ferguson; son, Clinton Ferguson; and brothers, Junior, Ed and Everett Vaughn.

She is survived by her children, Linda Howard (Terry), Ed Ferguson (Laura), both of Mountain Home, and Joe Ferguson (Lisa) of Hoxie; sister, Bernice Bradford of Willow Springs, Mo.; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Friday, June 4, at 1 p.m. at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock with Rob Combs officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Joe Ferguson II, Jason Ferguson, Josh Ferguson, Dillon Cagle, Todd Jones and Dwight Ferguson.
