Fannie Shaw Graham, 102, of Walnut Ridge, passed away July 13, 2020, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born March 25, 1918, in Saffell, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Morgan Shaw. She was united in marriage to Ira Spencer Graham on March 5, 1934. The young couple moved to Missouri and cleared land by hand as a team. Fannie chopped wood, sawed timbers, picked cotton and worked on her family’s dairy farm. She was also a loving mother and dedicated housewife. After her children were grown, she worked in the cafeteria at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ira; two sons, James and Gerald Graham; two grandchildren, Shelly Ann Graham Berg and Jeff Graham; two sisters, Betty Pruitt and Gladys Blackburn; and two brothers, Aaron and Otho Shaw.

Survivors include her son, John Graham of Little Rock; two daughters-in-law, JoAnn Graham Horak of Dallas and Sharon Graham Enke of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Spencer (Rhonda) Graham of Monticello, Cynthia (David) Butler of Bald Knob and David (Marsha) Graham of St. Louis; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service was July 16 at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Pallbearers were her church family and friends. Interment followed at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
